What is cashback affiliate and why it matters

Most sportsbooks run affiliate programs that pay marketers a share of the net gaming revenue (NGR) they generate. The marketer earns on every bet you place — win or lose — for as long as you keep playing.

A cashback affiliate is the same thing, except the marketer shares a fixed slice of that commission back to the player. The book still pays the marketer the same; the marketer trades some margin for higher retention.
