Why BackBet is sports-only

Sportsbooks and online casinos look similar from the outside, but the US-side legal environment treats them very differently. Sports betting affiliate marketing is well-understood. iGaming / table-games promotion in the US is a thicket of state-by-state rules, and crypto-denominated casino games attract scrutiny we have no interest in courting.

We made a one-line policy decision: sports only, no poker, no casino, no crypto trading or token speculation. Less surface area, easier to defend, fewer surprises down the road.

Predict (free-to-play, no real money entries) is on the roadmap for engagement — that is a different regulatory bucket and is fine if structured correctly.
